Rummy 500 Rules

Goal
Be the first player to reach 500 points
Gameplay
- Deal cards
- 2 players = 13 cards each
- 3-4 players = 7 cards each
- Starting with the player to the left of the dealer, players take turns drawing from the stock or discard pile
- Players lay down sets or runs of cards (3+ cards) on the table
- Players lay down cards that match sets/runs that are already on the table
- Players earn points for the cards that lay down
- The round ends when a player runs out of cards
- The game is won when one player reach 500 or more points
Rules
- Play begins with the player to the left of the dealer
- After each round, the next player to the left deals cards
- A set is three or four cards of the same rank
- A run is three or more cards of the same suit in sequential order
- Face cards are worth 10 points each
- Number cards are worth 5 points each
- Aces are worth 15 when played high or 5 when played low
- When drawing from the discard pile, all cards on top of the card be drawn must be taken and the bottom card drawn must be played
